Bye Bye Tiki and other NFL news...

Tiki Barber scored his final Touchdown Saturday as he heads off into a his new career. What a great way to finish, at the top. Over the past five years he has been one of the best running backs in the game. He over came the fumbleitist of his early career and became very productive even leading his team to a Super Bowl. How fitting was it that Tiki got to enjoy his last game by scoring a touchdown at the Pro Bowl.
Devin Hester DID IT AGAIN. Is he not the best kick/punt return specialist in a very long time? Tim Dwight had a great rookie season, Desmond Howard won a Super Bowl MVP but I don’t know anyone that is this much of a threat on punt and kick returns. Meanwhile, Brett Favre told the world that he is coming back to play another season. How do you think an athlete should retired? Should they leave on top like Tiki? Or leave after they have given their all like Joe Montana?

The Giants are my team, and this is a hard pill to choke down. Tiki has been the life blood of that team, and to watch him go just as he is in the middle of peaking is sad and tough. I'll never forget the fumbleitist back in the beginning of the decade...drove me nuts.
